Service

Originally founded as a community for underrepresented students on campus, GQ has since expanded and is involved with a number of other groups such as the Black Student Union, Caribbean Student Association, Haitian-American Student Association, and the Academic Achievement Program. Some ongoing GQ programs include a mentoring partnership with Validus Preparatory Academy in the Bronx, SAT prep classes, and community service around the city.

GQ also has an ongoing partnership with Middle Collegiate Church. Over the past 12+ months we have served to make sure our neighbors have healthy, quality food. In the past, we have supported the Sunday Food Pantry by packing 150 bags per week, all of which are distributed free of charge, ensuring those in our community have enough to eat.
